The Ohio Hip Award "Cheating" Rules

We would like to thank everyone who participates in the Ohio Hip Hop Awards process. People across the state are submitting nominations every day for their favorite artists!

This is a great opportunity for everyone. The awards show is something that everyone wants to participate in and be a part of. Artists are campaigning through their music as well as through promotions. The nomination process is designed to let the people of the state to voice their opinion on who they think should be casted on the final ballot.

One thing we have noticed and have kept track of was the cheaters. This process is very important to a lot of people, and we cannot allow for invalid repeat nominations to tarnish that process. This form of "mass nominating" seems to be a concept used every year by a variety of people.

There are no rules against this, however, it is very easy to detect, and in no way gives you an advantage in the process. The online process is set up so that these mass nominations only flood our system, they do not in any way corrupt our calculations.

Please stop nominating yourself more than once. Its fairly obvious who is doing it by the nature of your nominations. (as well as the repetitions of your IP Addresses.)

We would just like everyone to know this.
